Meditation Teacher Training
2026 -2027
Become a meditation teacher for the modern world. A nine-month visionary program.
At The School of Modern Meditation SOMM, we believe meditation is more than a technique. It’s a path of awareness, emotional maturity, compassion, and most importantly, conscious participation in the world.
Today, perhaps more than ever, we need meditation teachers who are steady, psychologically informed, and committed to their own practice. This program weaves together the history and philosophy of meditation with modern science and psychology to create a course that will evolve you as a human as well as a teacher.
Suitable for anyone wanting to deepen their understanding and practice of meditation.
“Training with SOMM was one of the most transformative experiences of my life. I didn’t just learn how to teach meditation, I learned how to trust myself, understand myself more deeply, and show up with real authenticity.”

“It is possible the next Buddha will not take the form of an individual. The next Buddha may take the form of a community, a community practicing understanding and loving kindness, a community practicing mindful living. And the practice can be carried out as a group, as a city, as a nation.”
—Thich Nhat Hanh
