This 50-hour course is where the art and heart of teaching come together. We’ll dive into trauma-informed teaching: what it means to teach in a way that centres safety, choice, and nervous system awareness. You’ll develop your capacity to hold space skillfully, support the room effectively, and teach with presence and adaptability.

PLEASE NOTE: Facilitators interested in offering trauma-sensitive group work through ACC ISSC in New Zealand will need to share with ACC their robust training in nervous system education and trauma sensitivity. We recommend completing:

  • 200 hour YTT or SOMM AIM/Meditation TT or 200hr+ Breathwork training

  • 50 hour Art of Trauma-informed Sequencing (March, 2026)

  • 50 hour Trauma Informed Community Yoga, Breathwork, and Meditation (September, 2026)

Our Approach

Facilitate inclusive and accessible spaces that welcome a variety of cultural, emotional, physical, and neuro-diverse backgrounds. This course is grounded in nervous system education and yogic philosophy.

We’ll explore how to design and deliver thoughtful, intelligent sequences that are grounded in physiological and cultural awareness, responsive to energetic states, and attuned to the nervous system. You’ll learn how to structure classes with intention, from welcome to integration, while staying flexible enough to meet the moment.

Finally, we’ll begin weaving meditation into your class structure, whether as a simple moment of awareness or a central thread. You'll gain confidence in guiding students inward, using language and pacing that support accessibility and depth.

Each day includes practice, sequencing labs, guided reflections, and group feedback. By the end, you’ll walk away with practical frameworks, creative confidence, and a toolkit to teach classes that feel purposeful and useful.
