A Retreat with Claire Robbie, Caroline Sherratt & Amanda Billing
This immersive retreat invites you to explore the many facets of yourself through parts work, meditation, creativity, and gentle yoga. This retreat is suitable for all levels of meditative experience.
This retreat is a rare and sacred annual offering—a full reset from the noise of modern life, screens, and even caffeine. Calling it restorative doesn’t do it justice—it’s a true reclamation of stillness, clarity, and deep renewal.
You’ll be guided through powerful meditative practices designed to help you connect with and understand different parts of yourself, unlocking deeper self-awareness and transformation. This year, we’re thrilled to have artist Amanda Billing joining us, leading inspiring morning sessions that awaken creativity and self-expression—adding a whole new layer of depth to your retreat experience.
Most of all this retreat is a rest. Silence is a powerful practice, and the experience of channeling our energy and intention inwards, supports our bodies and minds to heal and restore.
All the details are below and if you’d like to apply please click the link below and let us know which room type and a little b it about your meditative experience.
Claire Robbie has been teaching meditation and hosting international retreats for over 15 years. This annual retreat has become her absolute favourite — this will be her (and Caroline’s) 5th edition of their Far North silent retreat. Over the years they have refined the schedule and created something truly special. Claire will guide the meditative practices and parts workshop.
Artist and facilitator Amanda Billing will open the retreat with a foundational workshop on sketching, colour, and the creative process, equipping you with creative tools to bring your inner world to life. Each day will feature guided meditation, artistic exploration, and reflective practices to deepen your connection to self. No artistic experience is required—just an open heart and a curiosity to explore.
In the evenings, we will process and unwind with restorative yoga led by AIM Facilitator, SOMM Teacher and deeply experienced yoga teacher Caroline Sherratt, designed to integrate the day’s insights and bring balance to the body and mind. Caroline has trained and taught all over the world and currently resides at Mt. Maunganui where she teachers remotely for SOMM.

“Ultimately, we’re just moving through patterns in our minds. Everything changes, and if we can flow with it, we can be free.”
